Friday Links
So, I’ve been reading blogs and news stories and the like and I’ve got some links I want to share with you — not only because they are awesome, but because I’m too lazy to post something real today. I’ve got some things brewing here, but I can’t seem to find the flippin’ time to get it all done.
Dawson is keeping me busy. Work is keeping me busy. Life is just spinning too fast these days. So…here are some linky-links.

This story had me crying. It’s so touching, yet so terribly sad.

Have you seen this:
What an amazing video.

I read this “bedtime” story and peed my pants. Oh, yes I did. It’s the very last line that made me laugh hysterically.

I don’t know what to make of this news story. I like Michelle Obama very much, but I feel like the media is having a field day with her wardrobe and looks. She is gorgeous. And yes, she does remind me of Jackie Kennedy. But calling her “the perfect wife” and the president’s “sexy new First Lady” irks me. There is no such thing as the perfect wife… Is there? I hope not, because that means women everywhere are doomed to fail.

This article makes me sick. President Obama, I will do my best to support you as our Commander in Chief, but I will never, ever be okay with abortion. I will never be okay with my tax dollars funding abortions. This is wrong. It’s immoral. It is sickening. You want to keep abortion legal? Fine. You pay for it. Or, return the power to the states. I’m sick of listening to all these pro-choice advocates stating that government should not have the right to meddle in private matters such as health care or what a woman does with her body. But in reality? The government is doing just that; meddling. By forcing tax payers to just go along with it and using federal dollars to fund abortions, the government is saying that my beliefs, and my values don’t matter. This is crap. 48 million babies have been aborted since 1973. When does it end? When?
