Charter Still Sucks
Internet and phone are still acting funny. Yesterday we didn’t have a dial tone for 7 hours or more. This is after Charter reset a bunch of things. So, they are coming back today (it only took 15 calls from my cell phone and 2 threats to call the Better Business Bureau and the FCC) to fix this shit once and for all. I hope. Dear Zeus, I hope.
So, today I’m at the Portage County Public library using their free Wi-Fi to complete my BlogHer work, and follow through on some reviews over at the review blog. Want to learn more about the V-Tech V-Motion V.Smile video game system? Head over there. It’s the perfect game system for kids ages 3-7 years.
Last night, Dawson and I went to see Sesame Street Live. It was a fantastic show and I bootlegged some video that I’ll try to post later.
In other news, I’m still suffering from the cold from hell and I’m hoping it goes away soon because I have a house to clean and laundry to put away.
Bear with me y’all. As soon as my internet is back (yeah, and the phone, too) I’ll be posting lots of things for your reading and viewing pleasure.

Charter Sucks
I hate Charter Communications. I hope they rot in hell. I have no internet, the telephone isn’t working right, and the cable is shitty. I pay $142 a month for crappy products and shitty customer service.
Charter is company of liars. I called three times Saturday to report my internet problems and two agents swore the earliest appointment was Thursday. Then the phone stopped working, and I was moved into “Priority Status” and was promised that an agent would be here between Noon-2 p.m. No one showed up.
I gave these “technicians” the benefit of the doubt, thinking they were late. When I called at 2:30 to complain, an agent gave me the runaround, then told me she was transferring me to a supervisor. Instead, she hung up on me.
This made me furious and I actually contemplated blowing the place up.
I’m so f*cking mad I could spit nails. Charter, you can suck it.
So, I have intermittent telephone and internet services. This makes blogging and working nearly impossible and I’m so angry I’m snapping at everyone, even the poor dog.
I hate Charter. I fully expect a credit on this bill. A very BIG credit.

I Miss…

…that baby’s head of hair.
When I think back to the day that Dawson was born, I remember that he didn’t have much hair on his little head. But, within a few short months, his baby hair was growing quite nicely and I swore I would never cut it.
It was his father who demanded that our boy get a haircut on his first birthday, and oh, how I cried. Those soft wisps of baby fine hair; how I missed running my fingers through that little mop.
I loved the way his fine hair smelled after a bath, and the way it dried quickly so that I could spend hours just inhaling the scent of my baby.
As hard as I try to remember baby hair, I look at my little monster now, and only see his “grizzly” hair cut a la Daddy’s hair clippers.

This post is in honor of Kristen of Motherhood Uncensored and Rebecca of Girl’s Gone Child who are expecting beautiful baby girl’s any day now. We’re reminiscing about what we loved best about those new baby days with an online shower since we live all over the continent and beyond. If you’d like to participate, click here for details!
