I’ll Leave My Heart In San Francisco

So.  I’m here.  In San Francisco.  Yes, it’s amazing.  Yes, I’m having a fabulous time.  Yes, I’m sorry that some of you are not here with me to party, party, party.

I’ve gone to six cocktail parties in the past 24 hours and I tried my best not to get drunk.  Last night I was tipsy, tonight, I’m doing well because I was smart enough to switch to soda after I tripped on my own platform wedge shoe.  Let me just say that my feet, they hurt.  My dogs are barking.  Walking and standing and dancing and walking is enough to make my feet revolt.  Stop it, lady, they are saying.  Stop overusing us.  We hurt and we probably stink, too.

I have oodles of photos to share with you, however my hotel room’s wifi connection does not like me.  It absolutely refuses to let me upload photos to Flickr.  So you may have to wait a bit for those.  However my hot candy ass lovah, Jennster has some photos she managed to upload.  I’m in some of them.  Go look.  I warn you….I look rather goofy in several most all of them.

I promise to write something normal later.  When my feet stop hurting and shit.

  3. Dana - every time I looked around, it seemed like there were more and more new people I hadn’t seen in all the time at BlogHer and I am so sorry that we never met! I think I actually asked a couple of people if they knew you and if you’d come but still, no luck. :( I’m glad to read that you had a great time.

  4. OH my gosh, Jill! I know how you feel! I swear I heard your name during one of the keynotes and I made a mental note to come find you. I as sitting nearby. But by the time it was over and all the people started exiting the grand ballroom, I couldn’t see you. So…needless to say…I’m sad we didn’t get to meet in person, as well. Maybe next year, I hope?

I did have a great time. Better than last year in Chicago by far. And yes, so many new people were there, I had a hard time keeping track of who I hadn’t yet met!
