Fantasy Football, Frustration and Favre! He Could Come Back? For Real?

So, I’m sitting at my desk, trying to figure out how the hell I ended up with Tom Brady on my Fantasy Football roster (so much for NFL.com’s automated draft thingie. Yes, I said thingie. This is my first time playing FF by myself. Cut me a little slack, eh?).

Suddenly, I’m perusing all the articles about the much anticipated, upcoming football season and I read this.

“Favre considers return to NFL or does he?”

Yeah. I thought that would grab your attention as it did mine.

Okay, Brett? I heart you more than you will ever know. And if you came back to my beloved Packers, I wouldn’t object. But, seriously? Stop messing with my mind. I cried actual tears when you announced your retirement. And I’m still sad about it. I’d give anything to see you play at Lambeau Field one last time. Good gravy, baby. Are you coming or going?

Can you let me know? Because if you do decide to come back, I’ve got a late round draft pick I need to make. Or something like that. Don’t ask me what that means. I understand football, but I don’t get this whole fantasy league thing.

I might have to ask Sarah to help me out with this “thingie”.

Dana began her Mom career in 2004 with the birth of her eldest son, Dawson, aka The Doodlebug. She spends her days catering to a 5-year-old, she denies her habit of compulsive vacuuming, and just recently gave birth to Owen, aka Monster Baby. She's definitely living La Vida Loca and wouldn't want it any other way.
