That’s a great post!

I was raised Republican, and I didn’t really pay any attention to politics until I married my first husband. He was really surprised to learn my political affiliation, because he knew that I’m a feminist at heart, and he said the GOP didn’t really believe that women were equal. So, I started looking into it, and you know what? He was right! After that, I’ve been a Democrat and have voted that way ever since.

I used to have a lot of respect for John McCain, but lately, he just scares me to death.

As far as the whole equal pay issue is concerned, I’m still really angry about it. Women tend to be more productive in the workplace because we are used to doing more than one thing at a time. We actually get more work done during the average workday than most men do, and they still collect higher paychecks.

It’s enough to make me want to scream in frustration.
