What’s In Store for Today

Cleaning Dawson’s Room.

Before you get on my case or tell me I shouldn’t have let it get this bad, please remember I used to work 40 hours a week and barely had time to blog, let alone clean. And yes, I do have my priorities in order, thank you very much.

Now that I’m home, it shouldn’t be this messy ever again, right? (Crossing fingers behind my back.)

  1. Looks like the typical kids room to me. :P

  2. Don’t worry… my bedroom is just as bad as this, and I work at home. And I don’t have any kids; it’s all my own mess. Good luck, and enjoy being home.

  3. Y’all, I finished this task within an hour and half after posting. Now that’s progress! Usually it takes me longer. I think because Doug took Dawson to Grandma’s for a bit, it got done a heck of a lot faster!

  4. That’s awesome. Doesn’t it feel good to bring some order to something in your life? It always makes me feel so capable.

  5. I’m not going to be the one to burst THAT bubble! ;)

  6. PunditMom, I know. I KNOW. Heh. I’m hoping that I’m able to keep on top of this stuff now. But I might need an extra boost of good luck. Or a Merry Maid. ;)

  7. Yeah, good luck with that - smiles! I recently left my job to work from home, freelance writing, and take care of the kids. I just knew my house would be spotless. Right. It’s almost messier than when I worked!

Side note - sorry to hear about your job. Hopefully, this will turn into something really positive for you. :)
