Just call me Yoga Mama
Every Monday I attend yoga at my gym. I’ve been practicing on and off since high school, and at one point I was very good. After having Dawson I practiced sporadically and lost some of the skills I acquired over an eight year period.
Tonight was the sixth class (there are seven total in a session), and I successfully completed Ardha Chandrasana, or Half Moon pose.

Okay, so I held it for barely 2 minutes.
And I was leaning against a wall. That’s progress, people.
Now, if only I could do Vrksasana (Tree with Lotus):

Yes. Balance on one foot with my other leg crossed over the opposite knee.
Now THAT is talent.

OK I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for years now too. And I’m not even *close* to that! I am humbled by your practice

Thanks! But I had to use the wall! I’m certain you’d be able to do the Half Moon without the wall.

Okay, I pulled a muscle just looking at it!

Seriously, there are poses that I think I’ll never be able to do! It’s so challenging, but I feel so much better when I’m done!

I am an expert at the lesser-known yoga pose, Prone Girl Sleeping. I am so advanced that I teach a class every night (very advanced class, lasts at east 8 hours). Unfortunately no one ever attends. If I could just find some students I could quit my day job and teach (single pose) yoga full time!
