The roadblocks and plateaus are difficult. Now that you're on the road to good health, take care of yourself and get back to the gym! This is only a temporary setback, not permanent.

Bribery! It works wonders with kids, right? Promise yourself that new purse you've been eyeing, or those cute shoes, or some new Packers' gear - whatever makes you happy. After a week of good workouts and eating right treat yourself to a reward!

Honestly, nothing is working for me right now. So continue eating and sitting on the couch.

Wait, that's not right.

See, I'm really no good at giving advice at the present time. What we need is a good old brownie fest. But then you'd need more advice.

Obviously, from other people.

Hang in there! (How about keeping an exercise video/DVD in the player?)

I'm glad you're feeling better!

I'm not one to give tips. My best motivation for eating well is being pregnant. And I'm carrying around so much baby at this point, EVERYTHING feels like exercise.

I think you're doing great. Sickness can really knock you off balance, but you'll get it back this month. Keep up the good work!

My husband and I have now lost 17.5 pounds each. We eat balanced, healthy, small-portion-sized meals, have pretty much cut out all refined sugar, and we do a fifteen-minute T-Tapp workout every morning to get our engines running. He goes to the Y at least four mornings a week to workout, and I do at least two exercise videos a week with strength training with free weights at home. :) We've had a lot of fun trying new recipes of things we would never have considered when we didn't care about our health. In the last month of this transformation, we've pretty much done a 180 on our thinking about food and activity. Get your ass back to the gym, Dana! You can do it!
