I’m Not Having A Bad Day

…even though today is Have A Bad Day, Day. Surprisingly, today is a very good day! Maybe I’m optimistic because I have a short work week.

Thanksgiving is knocking on my front door and I still haven’t gone to the grocery store. I just have to make a dessert and I’m procrastinating.

I really can’t think of anything to say today. I’m trying to catch up on work so that I have less to do after the holiday.

Oh, wait. I do have one thing to tell you. I’m going to New York City. For BlogHer Business. I’m really excited.

   I’m so freaking excited. I know it’s five months away, but I’ve never been to NYC. On top of that, it’s been 15 years since I the last time I was on an airplane.

   I don’t even know what to do first. I mean other than what I did. I’m so pumped.

   Funny, attending BlogHer ‘07 in Chicago was the first time I had flown in 15 years.

   No worries, it’s like riding a bike, sort of.

   Just remember to give yourself plenty of time at the airport, wear comfortable shoes (that can be slipped on and off, easily) and I’ll meet you in the city.

   Unless, you’re flying into Newark and I can ride the train with you from there.
