I can’t get Tom Jones out of my head now…

And back in the day, I taught CCD too. I had fifth graders and would bring in candy bars to “reward” correct answers…but it was really just to keep them from talking so much.

Patois, I didn’t start the bp pills until after I took my test. I was told to make sure I’m not pregnant before I start taking it. But I still don’t have my period, so I’m thinking the stress is that problem. I’ve got a check-up next week, so I’m going to be asking a lot of questions!

What does the blood pressure medicine do to your procreating abilities? And does it have any impact on a negative or a positive reading? Just wondering.

I love Bill Cosby too. He delivered the commencement address when I got my Masters from Boston College - of course, because I was in such a rush and did the degree in one year, I technically graduated in August rather than in June and had a class on the actual graduation day. The prof. wouldn’t excuse me from class for the ceremony and I was too much of a perfectionist to take a zero for the day, so I missed him!

And the middle schoolers scare us teacher-types too!! That’s why there are always more job vacancies in the middle and upper grades
