Plaid Pants Are Stylish, Right?

Once upon a time, I had a job in a local department store.  I never made any money because I always bought clothes at exceptionally reduced prices.  Some of which I’ve never worn.

It was a terrible habit and very difficult to break.  I’ve donated most of those clothes to Goodwill or sold them at Nice As New, a neighborhood consignment shop.

But there is one pair of pants I saved and I’m bound and determined to squeeze into them before I die.   If I just so happen to be an 80-year-old woman in ugly, turquoise, plaid cropped pants, so be it.

What can I say?  I had visions of golf in my head when I purchased these:

  2. I love plaid.

But not so much in turquoise.

  3. an eighty year old woman in bright turquoise plaid cropped pants, golfing… now there’s a good image! :)

  4. Kari, I still think they’re great. Although I never did find a top to go with them. :P

    Jenn, I know. Scary, huh?

  5. If you’re going to do plaid, you better do it in turquoise or chartreuse or one of those other loud, scary colors. That way you look ironic instead of just old, rich, or sad. : )

  6. See, Julie!! You got it! I think it’s kind of retro. Yenno? :P
