Haiku Friday

Haiku Friday

Terrible Haiku
I’m not any good at this
I gave my best shot

Christina and Jennifer have created Haiku Friday.

I’m not the best at Haiku. A good one surfaces from my mind every now and again, but today I was unlucky.

Actually, I’m just killing time until I post my Stylin’ blog entry for PBN, tonight.  I didn’t have time to upload the photos from my closet last night.  My BlogHer post took up most of my evening.

Stay tuned for a peek at the contents of my closet!

  1. Today I whipped a few off so that I could join in. With practice I hope to get more poetic. It’s the only muscle I enjoy flexing.

  2. Well personally I like your haiku! I think it’s great!

  3. Sounds like a good haiku to me! I haven’t written one in a hundred years…just finished Memoirs of a Geisha when I read the post so, I had to participate! ;)

  4. Haiku Friday… what a cool idea. You did just fine.

  5. Thanks ladies! I was to the point of counting out syllables. It was kind of funny!

  6. That’s great! If it makes you feel better, I sometimes have to clap out the syllables, just like in elementary school.

  7. Thanks, Christina!

Dana began her Mom career in 2004 with the birth of her eldest son, Dawson, aka The Doodlebug. She spends her days catering to a 5-year-old, she denies her habit of compulsive vacuuming, and just recently gave birth to Owen, aka Monster Baby. She's definitely living La Vida Loca and wouldn't want it any other way.
