BlogMe 2007

Last year’s BlogMe was an interview process, but this year Mocha decided to nix the lengthy get-to-know-you thing. This year we must reveal something about ourselves in a post that takes 10 seconds to read. Here goes:
- I haven’t been away from my child for more than 2 days. Ever. I’m going to party hard.
- I’m secretly (not anymore) afraid that I will be the biggest dork at BlogHer.
- I’m so very excited to meet Mocha Momma. So much so that I’ve bought her a gift. (Yes. Yes, I have. I hope you love it.) She’s probably going to think I’m some kind of crazy-stalker-girl. But truly, she was my second blogging inspiration (I discovered the Caffeinated Librarian first) and I adore her.
- I’m from Wisconsin, which is a very important tid-bit of info for those of you participating in The Great BlogHer Photo Scavenger Hunt sponsored by Cool Mom Picks.
I hope that was less than 10 seconds!

Nope. Took longer than 10 seconds because I had to pick up my jaw when I realized you bought me a gift (and you soooo didn’t have to do that!) and that you’re excited me meet me. I’m lamer than you’ll realize. Honestly. You’ll yawn at my boringness.
Since you’re from Wisconsin, is it cheese-flavored coffee? Just a guess.

Cheese in coffee? Ack! If that really exists, I’ll deny I’m from the state!
No. Nothing with cheese in it.
And seriously, the gift is nothing big. It’s delicious, though!

LOL well you know if there was ever cheese in coffee, then it must have been invented in wisconsin.
and i’ve noticed that no matter how dorky you are, there is always someone just a bit dorkier than you.

Yoshi! Hah! That’s funny!
Amaras_mom! Can’t wait to meet you! I’m so excited!

Yep, this will be my first time without hubby and kids, too! Funny because with all the talks of partying, I can’t get the prospect of SLEEP off my mind.

Chiming in on the “first time without hubby and kids, too!”
You can’t be the biggest dork - that title is already taken, by yours truly - then, I won’t have any excuse to fall back on.
Amber: Maybe we can sleep on the cab ride over to the hotel!?!

I’m getting so excited about meeting everybody, especially you, Dana! I’m most nervous about not recognizing people because I suck at that.
The long weekend will be a blast and a much-needed break for all of us. Whee!

Mary, I know. I can’t wait. Except I’m feeling some anxiety about leaving Dawson for four days. Granted Daddy and Grandma & Grandpa will be assisting, I still fear he’ll cry for me!
Oy!
I’m going to not think about it!

Only a present for Mocha?
I feel so left out.
July 25th, 2007 at 10:38 am, dana Says:
Oh, Sarah. Goon Squad Sarah….Mea culpa.
I’ll bring you a present, too. It’s not jell-o shots, though. They won’t let me bring those on the bus!
