Leslie! Fruit trees are so cool! I hope you take pictures of the orchard someday!

Dorky Dad - Even though you moved, you did a great thing for our Earth! And you can always rejoin and plant some more!

Holli! It is kind of neat to look at that tree now. I'll have to take a picture of it!

Patois! I'm so happy you are joining! I think it's wonderful to plant those trees for Arbor Day! I can't wait to plant ours with Dawson!

We joined the Arbor Day Foundation when I lived in South Carolina and received some similar trees. We planted them. Then we ended up moving ...

I love trees.

I planted my first tree when I was in Kindergarden. We no longer own the house I grew up in, but a childhood friend of mine now lives there and the tree still stands.

To be honest, I hadn't thought of Arbor Day, but we have a few new fruit trees set to arrive on Friday. We're hoping to build up a small orchard on the far end of our property.

Thanks for the Arbor Day reminder. Planting trees is always a good idea.

First of all, as a sentimental freak - that is so amazingly cool you can still look out and see the tree you planted with your family. That is incredible.

I want to order trees!!! I hate that I don't know where we will be living at that point in time!! Darnit.

We have the most BEAUTIFUL redbuds in our yard right now, along with the "white twees" and "red twees" that my daughter loves so much. Tell your husband the petals either float away - or evaporate within days of falling off of the tree. It's really sad how fast it's all over.
