Meme Time

Well, my thigh feels better.  It still stings and hurts a little, but for the most part, I’m functional.  My parents are coming over for dinner tonight, so I have to be able to cook without burning, cutting or injuring myself.   Last night I was draining the pasta noodles and Dawson decided to run into the kitchen and hug my leg.  A sweet gesture, but bad timing.  Since Doug was working, I had no help and my panicky instinct was to shoo Dawson out of the kitchen.  Because of this, I spilled 130 degree, boiling water onto my right thigh.

   Ouch, girlie! Gotta love the timing for leg hugs. I actually miss those, albeit not when I’m cooking. I hope you have a speedy recovery… it looks painful.
