Dana, this is just gorgeous. Honest, bare, and just out-there, and beautiful. Lots of booze, but beautiful!! And I love the last part, especially. I think we are afraid, so often, to dare to expose the fact that our marriages are not deliriously happy love-fests 24/7. Maybe if more of us were this honest, then young people wouldn’t have the starry-eyed expectations that I suspect often lead to divorce when they realize that this thing is actually a full-time JOB instead of a magical fairy-tale with no effort required. You’ve done a great job of it.
