The GBP’s Lost. Again.
Many of you haven’t known me very long which means you may not know how much I love my Green Bay Packers. It’s a love that was passed down through the ages. It’s almost hereditary. My father loves the Pack. My mother is a big fan (and she was born in Chicago — now THAT’s love!), my brothers are Green Bay fans. Even my sister shows her love! My grandparents were Green Bay Packer-Backers, too.
I’ve watched my team go through hell in the 80’s, triumph the late 90s and now pure stupidity in the years of the 2000s. SERIOUSLY! WTF is going on over there in the Frozen Tundra?
We went from Mike Holmgren, to Mike Sherman to Mike whatever-the-fudge his name is (I know, I know! Mike McCarthy!) and I have to ask: Can’t y’all get with program?
Either we’re jinxed by coaches named Mike or we’re jinxed because I watch the game religiously every time they play. I want the team glory back! Yes, I know it’s only pre-season and I shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. But when the book is screaming “I’m a waste of time, don’t read me,” what am I supposed to think?
Dearest Brett, you know how much I adore and love you. Dearest Donald, I have loved you for years, but jeepers-creepers! If you can’t show me the money (err, show me a win), I’m going to have to start trading in my Packer tickets (that I don’t have) for tickets to the opera. And we all know that Dana does not do opera (yet).
Ugh. I know I shouldn’t allow my blood pressure to rise over sports, but THIS is not a sport anymore. It’s turning into a 3 Ring Football Circus.
Come on guys! Go, Pack, Go!

Too funny! I am also a Packer Backer. Born in GB a long time ago. I always tell people they won’t let you take your kids home from the hospital in Wisconsin unless you pledge to raise them as Packer fans! Haven’t been back to WI in several years. Need to go soon!
