Fireworks, Blogs & Explosions

I think I might be addicted to Blog Explosion. Seriously! It’s become like a drug. I just surf and surf and take hits, err. Wait. I’m KIDDING!

I really do love it, though! And I have to thank Geeky Dragon Girl because I saw the link on her site first and after scanning other blogs and visiting her renters, I decided to try it. Big, but good, mistake. Now I’m hooked.

And I earned all these credits just by clicking and commenting on other blogs! It’s just too much fun.

I wonder how I’ll transfer all the fun new stuff when I decide to host my own site? I’ve been debating this ever since Mocha Momma led the way with her own blog (and might I add that I’m addicted to her, too! She’s the bomb-diggity, except cooler). Then my dear sweet Queen of Spain announced she will be moving as well. And Sarah and the Goon Squad. I really need to get on with the times. I just can’t decide which company I want to use for hosting. There are so many out there. And while I like the WordPress idea, I’m not sure how to work it. As you can see, I have a lot more research to do. But soon I hope to launch thedanafiles.com and say goodbye to MSN and Blogger. It will be a sad day. Let’s not cry now — it may be months before all this change happens!

Anyway, back to Blog Explosion. The best part is that I have nothing better to do on a slow Saturday at work. What a better way to pass the time by blog walking?

I’m very excited to have off the next three days. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will be spent outside; boating, beach going, parade attending, concerts, fireworks, THE WORKS!

Happy Fourth of July everyone!

Update! Look! I have a renter! My first one! There were four bids and I couldn’t decide and I felt bad not being able to rent to all of the bidders! So — I used a really great technique — I closed my eyes and twirled my pointer finger around and Scooter was the magic winner! Please visit him! His videos are very fun! He even referred a chick flick with man appeal. Must Love Dogs. Is this guy cool or what?

  1. Beautiful site and graphics! Did you do your own design..? I have down loaded WP but I have only enough experience to add links to blogspot…nothing high end, hence my awful site… I can’t believe that you are also an Ann Coulter fan…

  2. Ooh! I adore you! You like ANN??? You are my new favorite blogging friend. I get SOOOO much grief for it! No, I didn’t make my own blog. Karen at Troll Baby Graphics designed it. She is amazing! :) Thanks for visiting me!

  3. Thanks for the kind words and letting me stay the week. I’m honored to be your first renter and I promise to be gentle.

  4. Thanks for checking out my blog! If you go with Wordpress, you’ll be happy. I used movabletype for about a year then switched and I’m so glad I did. Really, movabletype sucks! Wordpress is very user friendly. Also, I use total choice hosting. Reasonable priced and a lot of space.

Thanks again for stopping by my blog!

  5. I have become addicted to BE as well…especially the Battle of the Blogs.

Thanks for your tip about my neighbor’s dog. I may just have to try your Dad’s trick. Whatever works!

    Jenna

  6. Don’t even tell me about Blog Explosion. I will be addicted as well. I don’t need ONE MORE THING to be addicted to. The alcohol, heroin, and sex anonymous groups are enough right now.

    Oops.

    Have I said too much?

I’m TOTALLY KIDDING about the alcohol one.

  7. BE is really fun! I love checking out new blogs. It’s also fun having renters…. Come see me sometime

Dana Tuszke began her Mom career in 2004 after the birth of her son, Dawson the Demanding.
