Green Grass
At the grocery store the other day, I was in the Copp’s Food Center Floral Department and I bought “Pet Grass” for $1.99. It was really green, so perfect looking in it’s small plastic container. It’s roots were all crammed and tangled together and when I touch the blades it’s somewhat relaxing. It reminds me of those rock/sand garden things that come with those teeny rakes. Very Feng Shui I’m told.
When I brought my pet grass home, my husband laughed histerically.
“You bought PET GRASS? We’ve got a huge lawn full of grass!” he said, choking with laughter. “What possessed you to buy that?”
“It’s so perfect looking. And GREEN. If our yard consistently looked like this, I’d be very happy.” I replied.
He proceeded to go out side and mow the lawn. My pet grass doesn’t need to be mowed. Each perfect blade is still in tact.
Am I nerd? Don’t answer that. I think I know the answer already!
