Owie!

My little Bug is driving me buggy! Dawson has a new favorite word. “Owie” as in when he gets a minor injury, he says “Owie”. But he says it all the time now. When I wash his face, when I take away things he shouldn’t be playing with (like Mommy’s box of tampons that he dumped all over the bathroom floor) and when I’m getting him dressed in the morning. Even when I gave him a kiss he said it. Who knew a kiss could hurt?

I was getting used to his use of the word “no” all the time. Even when he wanted something he’d say no and shake his head. I suppose he’s just trying to assert himself. But when I went to give him a hug today, he said “Don’t!!” and pushed me away. Now that hurt! Owie.
