A Blogging Good Time
I’ve been blogging for a few short months, but I must confess that I’m addicted. I began my first blog in January of 2006 at My Space, but I really didn’t blog about anything of importance. I joined that site to reconnect with friends from high school and other pals.
It wasn’t until April 3, 2006 that I saw MSN Spaces. I was browsing and came across the Caffeinated Librarian‘s featured blog and instantly fell in love with the concept of blogging. CL’s writing was witty, informative and wonderful. I wanted to write well, too.
I’ve always loved writing and kept diaries and journals throughout the years. I wanted to express my thoughts and feelings and tell people about myself. I guess, in a way, blogging can be viewed as self-centered, but I don’t care. This is fun for me. Not only writing, but reading the blogs of others. Now a month later (it’s my one month Blogging Anniversary) I’m still in love.
I found the Mommy Bloggers site and I love it! There are so many women with wonderful things to say. It’s an honor and a privilege to read their thoughts and ideas.
Another inspiring blogger is Kelly from Mocha Momma. I found her blog through the Caffeinated Librarian. Mocha is a wonderful writer and I admit I can’t go a day without checking her blog for new content. She’s exceptionally witty and straight up. I call her my “Cuppa Mocha” (she has a wonderful reference to her “Cuppas” in her blog. She loves her coffee!). I absolutely adore her!
I continue to be inspired by many bloggers and I spend hours reading and searching for fresh and fun material. I think that’s why my list of favorites is getting so long. I need one of those blogroll thingies.
